Abatanado a longer espresso, as in an Americano but brewed differently. Caf com cheirinhocoffee with a dash of aguardente (Portuguese brandy).
A northern tradition. Where to go Lisbon's A Brasileira caf in the Chiado district has been in business since 1905 and is one of the most well-known cafs in Europe.
The Majestic Caf in Porto is just as long-established. Though, the best coffee is more likely to be in the smallest and most unpretentious neighborhood caf without any tourists, where the barista has been serving the same bica for thirty years.
