How We Source Our Coffee: The Global Coffee Haven Story

With each bag of coffee we sell at Global Coffee Haven, it tells a story that of a particular location, a particular crop and a particular group of people who have spent their lives cultivating something extraordinary. We believe you have a right to that story. Here is ours.

Since it started Global Coffee Haven has been founded on a simple, powerful idea that great coffee should be accessible for all. Not just for those who happen to live near a great roaster, but for anyone anywhere who can discover what coffee was really meant to taste like when it's grown, processed, and roasted with love.

How We Source We only purchase from the specialty-grade coffee category. This category can be defined as beans that score 80 or higher on the SCA quality scale. We only purchase the best so we only source from the best producers from around the world.

When procuring coffee we focus on three principles: quality, traceability and sustainability.

We buy from known coffee growing regions Ethiopia for its incredible natural-process coffees, Guatemala for its high quality volcanic-soil coffees, and Peru for its high-elevation smooth clean coffees and newer origins we feel are hungry to be recognized.

Our Commitment to Quality Every coffee we offer has been carefully selected and roasted to highlight its natural characteristics. We don't roast dark to hide defects — we roast to reveal flavour. Our roasting philosophy is simple: get out of the way and let the coffee speak for itself.

Our Commitment to You We believe that buying great coffee should be simple, enjoyable, and inspiring. That's why every product in our range comes with tasting notes, brewing recommendations, and the story of where it came from. We want every cup you brew at home to feel like a small adventure.

Thank you for being part of the Global Coffee Haven story. We can't wait for you to taste what the world has to offer.
